The Technicals:

Domain Name Registration (12 Months)

A domain name is your site name that you type in the URL bar. We will take your desired requests for a name and if it isn’t available, we will recommend our best alternate suggestions. This will be registered to your name and address for 12 calendar months starting from the date of purchase. The login credentials for this will be sent to you via a secure shared folder. We recommend not changing the password, incase we need to login again for any security or maintenance reasons.

** For domain names exceeding $50, we will notify you of this cost before proceeding. If it exceeds $50, you can choose to cover the cost difference. Otherwise we cannot cover this cost, and we will recommend alternatives. For example, a domain you may prefer costs $4,000. This far exceeds the cost of our standard-site service, let alone the $50 cost limit. Most domains are an average of $10-$50.

** If you already own a domain or hosting, we will need the login credentials to begin creating your site. We cannot lower our price for the website if you already own a domain or hosting. It is included, regardless.

*When it nears the 12 month mark, we will email you to remind you to renew, and will let you know the costs at that time. We can then bill you for this separately.

Domain Privacy (12 Months)

Keeps your personal information and identity safe by replacing it with proxy info in the WHOIS directory. This also prevents spam emails related to your domain. This is part of the domain and lasts for 12 months starting from the purchase date.

*When it nears the 12 month mark, we will email you to remind you to renew, and will let you know the costs at that time. We can then bill you for this separately.

Custom Domain Email Addresses (Up to 10)

We will create up to 10 custom email addresses that are @your domain. We usually recommend hello@, info@, support@, orders@, and the like. These can be accessed and checked via a specific login link that we will send to you. If you want to eventually use GMail to check these addresses, you can setup a custom consulation with us and we can walk you through that process for a separate rate. We will create the addresses you request and send you the login credentials. You can then change the passwords on these once you login to your liking.

Hosting (12 Months)

We include 12 calendar months of hosting that begins from the day we purchase and activate it. Hosting is what allows any website to become live on the internet. Without it, a website cannot exist. The site files always have to be “hosted” somewhere. We take care of setting up as well as configuring your hosting for the best settings. Your hosting will be specifically optimized for WordPress, and includes a CDN boost for performance. This also has the latest version of PHP. Last but not least, all WordPress core files are kept up-to-date. Our single-page sites feature standard hosting features that are a great fit for it. For larger website projects, we can recommend options for upgrading the hosting when you upgrade.

Responsive Design / Mobile Optimized

This means that your site looks good on phones, tablets, and any other screen size. (This is called responsive design.)

Z-shape Reading Pattern

This is a reading pattern in which the human eye scans over writing from top-to-bottom, and left-to-right. It is best to use this for online web content for the Western part of the world. We apply this to most of our sites. 

Google Friendly Sitemap

A sitemap is a simple file that Google looks for when crawling over your site for its search engine. It helps Google believe your site is legitimate, which in return helps your site rank higher over time. This is created for you and placed in the proper area of your site files. 

All Terms Pages

We will generate your terms pages, which include Terms of Service, Disclaimer, & Privacy Policy. These are legal terms documents that all websites should have, and it is another benefit for you to have. You can always take these and get them reviewed by your attorney of choice, and can modify them as you wish. We are not giving any legal advice, simply generating the files and informing you of their existance. The terms pages will be separate pages that are linked in the bottom footer.

Cookie / GDPR Notice

This is a cookie notice banner that will pop-up for your visitors. It is to inform them of the use of their information on your site, as well as what, if any, cookies are created/stored based on their info. They can opt-out of this from the pop-up. This is highly recommended for all sites on the web, and is just like the banner we provide on our home page. The cookie policy will also be a separate page that is linked in the bottom footer.

Speed Optimization (Starter Level)

Faster site ranks higher in Google. We take steps to speed up your site to the best we can. For the single-page site, we provide a starter level of this. This includes boosting the speed of the site loading in general, as well as the content displayed.

Basic On-Page SEO

On-page SEO involves optimizing the content and information displayed on a page to help Google know it is related to a search keyword. Over time this helps rank higher in Google as part of SEO. There are many other factors involved with SEO, but this is a good aspect to cover. We include the top 2-3 best search terms locally in your copy, as well as in the page meta title and page meta description. We also include alt text for images. Alt text is displayed when an image fails to load, and also used for people who use screen readers. It essentially tells Google why that image is being used in relation to the rest of the content on the page.

Components:

Favicon Created & Added

A favicon is the tiny icon that is displayed in your browser tab or window next to the site name at the top. We will create one for you based on your logo file.

Site Copy

Copy means the writing that is displayed on any site. We will write your copy as-needed, and match the tone to you. We also remove technical jargon (if applicable) and usually keep it more simple, relatable, and persuasive.

Hero Header

This is the top section of a site or landing page, and is usually “above the fold.” This just means the area the visitor first sees on their screen before they begin to scroll. The area that ends at the bottom edge of their screen.

Benefits Blurbs

We will write and display blurbs based on your top selling points / benefits / values you are providing to the visitor. These are to help persuade the visitor and move them along in your funnel. The amount varies based on your specific information. 

3-5 Stock Photos or Lotties as Needed

We will ask you for any requested images or media that you would like on your site. Aside from that, we will provide up to 3-5 images for the page that are relevant and enticing.

CTA Buttons (Varying)

These are your Call-to-Action (CTA) buttons. We usually phrase these differently depending on a variety of factors. It is paired well with an area of the page or site where it is guiding the visitor to the next step or take an action.

UI / UX

We apply color theory and design theory. Every detail matters such as font selection, contrasting colors, button colors, imagery, motion, animation, content dividers, content layout, negative space, and more!

Last But Not Least…

Revisions / Changes

Once we present a draft of your Single-Page Site, we allow up to three rounds of revisions. (This means that if you dont like anything, you have three opportunities to request any changes you would like made.) These revisions will be submitted via our revisions form we will provide to you.

Once you approve of the final design, you cannot request any further changes to the site.

If any changes requested after approval, there will be a separate fee. We can always go over this via email or a call whenever you like.

Refunds

Single-Page Site Refund Policy:

If you do not sign the contract and/or provide us with the completed spec form within 7 business days of receiving it, we will automatically refund you and cancel out your order. Both items must be completed for us to move forward.

Once the contract and form has been completed and submitted to us, we will begin setting up the domain and hosting, as well as our research and development. (R&D)
During this time, and prior to us presenting a draft to you, we can refund 50% of your total paid if absolutely necessary / something comes up on your end, without any questions asked. This is as a courtesy because we know sometimes the unexpected can occur.

Once we present your design / draft of the site:
If you dont like anything, we will provide up to 3 rounds of revisions. (This means three opportunities to request any changes you would like made.)
At this point, we cannot offer a refund.
If you are absolutely not satisfied after completion of your requested revisions, we can offer a shop credit of $100.00.
We will also delete your site files, content, design, and anything else you shared with us.

And of course, once you have approved the design and completed the sign off form, we cannot offer any refunds nor site credit.

In the event that we cannot provide the service to you for any reason on our end, we will refund you ourselves based on the step we were at in our process as referenced above.

Refund process (when applicable):
You must notify us by email or phone call with your request and reason. Please provide your full name and entity name, and please allow 1-2 business days from receiving this notice to process the refund.
Refunds may take varying times to appear on your credit card statement or payment method statement / transaction history, depending on your company / processor. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.

Turnaround Time

Fast turnaround time. (7 business days or less, upon receiving all necessary info & forms / unless any complications arise.)

All Single-Page Sites include:
-Comprehensive WordPress Security including firewall, login security, & IP blocking
-SSL (Site Secure License) with 2048-bit encryption (This is the little lock icon that displays to the left of a URL at the top of your browser)
-A backup of your design / layout

Maintenance

We will perform a monthly speed test and make sure everything is still running smoothly.

Support

After the project is complete and we have delivered it, we provide unlimited email support for a 12 month period. This is incase you have any questions about what you can do, how to do it, wanting to inquire about any other services and how they factor in, and more. SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

We provide basic on-page SEO, which is explained above. For standard sites and custom projects, we can provide more in-depth SEO for every page, and increase its chances of higher search ranking.

Upgrades

A Single-Page Site can be upgraded to a Standard Site or a Custom Project.
Since this site is built on WordPress, you can upgrade to a broader site, adding more pages and more functionality in the future.

For all websites that we create, you will need to have your own branding established. This includes an entity name, a logo (*high quality / high resolution), brand colors, and a clear definition of what it is you do / provide / sell / pursue. You also ideally need a clear action you would like your site visitors to take- whether that’s to learn more about something, subscribe, read a blog, schedule an appointment, message you, call you, follow you, etc.- Your choice.

If you do not have these items- you aren’t ready for a website yet.
